Community Workshops and Maker Space

We are an active and expanding workspace located in Riddlesden, West Yorkshire. We are a very low cost resource to help you with your personal projects. To fund the workspace. We ask for a small agreed fee when participants are making something for personal use. Or we take a commission when selling your craft items in the Artisan Studio exhibition spaces, on participant web sites, and here on this website shop. Everything earned by the shed is matched £ for £ by a legacy fund which supports this and another workshop in the Midlands.

The smaller workshops are available now but will expand in early June into a 1200 square ft workshop. This larger space will be fully equipped with quality machinery not normally available to the average person in their home workshop. Subject to safety protocols, all workshop equipment. is available to any participant. We will help you  take on new, more challenging projects and experienced and qualified people are always happy to guide people, helping them  to finish their project.

WE ARE NOT A MEN SHED.

SharedWorks is for anyone over the age of 18. It  is a resource managed by every participant. Everyone has an equal say in the running and management of the shed.
